Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced surveillance technologies and security systems.

Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 6 days a week. The schedule includes one weekly of as per Indian labor laws, ensuring guards have adequate rest and work-life balance.

Flexibility: While the standard shift is 8 hours, 3 Star Guards must be flexible to work longer hours if necessary, especially during critical incidents or emergencies.

Performance Reviews: Regular performance reviews are conducted to assess the guard’s effectiveness, leadership abilities, and adherence to security protocols. High performance in these reviews is essential for promotion.

Skill Score System: Guards are evaluated based on a skill score system, where their actions, conduct, and professional behaviour are continuously monitored and scored. Maintaining a high skill score is critical for career advancement.

Exemplary Conduct: Guards must exhibit exemplary conduct, including professionalism, ethical behaviour, and a proactive approach to their duties. Exemplary conduct ensures trust and reliability, which are vital for higher-level responsibilities.
Promotion Criteria

Training and Mentorship: The 3 Star Guard is responsible for training and mentoring 2 Star and 1 Star Guards, helping them develop their skills and ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.

Reporting: Regularly report on security operations, incidents, and guard performance to the Divisional Governing O>icer (DGO). Accurate and timely reporting ensures transparency and allows for continuous improvement in security practices.

Policy Enforcement: Ensure that all security policies and procedures are strictly followed by all guards under their supervision. This includes conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address any compliance issues.

Client Interaction: Maintain a strong relationship with clients, addressing their security concerns promptly and effectively. The 3 Star Guard acts as the primary point of contact for security-related matters at the client’s site.
